The BMHBA Kids Korner is back and packed with handson fun! Kids will get a chance to explore the building and construction industry through interactive DIY projects with carpentry students from BSC. The students will also be building a true-scale house right at the show-something you won’t want to miss. Empowering Women, Developing Relationships, Building Communities The Professional Women in Building (PWB) is a dedicated women’s group who is making a powerful impact through service, leadership, and a shared commitment to building a better future in BismarckMandan. This organization brings together women from diverse backgrounds who share a passion for strengthening the BismarckMandan community, expanding educational opportunities, and supporting families in need.

One of the group’s cornerstone missions is supporting home building industry and initiatives. Through volunteer labor, fundraising efforts, and advocacy, members in 2025 helped redesign two apartments where cancer patients and their families who were getting treatment at the Bismarck Cancer Center could stay for little to no cost. Their hands-on involvement not only provides a place to stay but also fosters comfort and hope for those going through a tough time in their lives.

Education is another key pillar of their work. The group participated in workshops, issues annual scholarships, and supports mentorship

programs designed to help individuals of all ages gain the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
