living with alzheimer’s – younger onset April 26 | thurs 9:30–11:30 am When someone under 65 is diagnosed with younger-onset Alzheimer’s, the first reaction is often shock or denial. Join us for a workshop that will provide answers to many questions about the disease. Hear from those directly affected. Learn how to plan and what you can do to ease the impact throughout the course of the disease. We have always known that the health of the brain and the body are connected. Now, science is able to provide insights into how to optimize our physical and cognitive health as we age. Join us to learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement and how to incorporate these into a plan for healthy aging.
