York Health Economics Consortium YHEC offers a range of services in different areas, as shown on the following slides

Reviewing Services • Systematic reviews, including network meta analyses (NMAs), to support health technology assessment (HTA) • Rapid reviews to provide accelerated evidence synthesis where there is no formal requirement for a systematic review • Scoping reviews to identify gaps in research and inform future research • Burden of illness reviews to understand the epidemiological, clinical, economic and humanistic burden of a disease area YHEC undertakes reviews for a variety of purposes YHEC has extensive experience of assessing the quality of both peer-reviewed publications and HTA submissions and we can appraise all aspects of systematic reviews and NMAs. YHEC also prepares manuscripts and coordinates the preparation of manuscripts for publication in peer reviewed journals

Information Services • Search strategy development – we can develop searches to capture your specifications • Reviews ranging from pragmatic to systematic • Critical appraisal of searches and reviews - we can advise on whether third party searches and reviews address a research question • Update searches and reviews • Managing search results - de-duplicating results, ensuring references are complete and developing display and output options. • Search filter development, validation and testing Information is at the heart of high quality healthcare, and information services are key to high quality research YHEC offers information services to support research in a range of formats
