Pembrokeshire is famous for many things, including the Bluestones of the Preseli Hills. The Bluestones are said to mark the site of clean water springs, and they are long associated with health and wellbeing. Our retreat here at Bluestone takes its name from our very own Holy Well and freshwater spring. It is situated in the village next to the ancient ruins of Newton North Church of St. John the Baptist.

Whether it is your first time at a spa, or you’re a regular spa visitor, we want everyone to feel welcome.
To get the most of your spa experience, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your booking. Our friendly Spa Team will check you in and provide you with a fluffy robe and towel and then show you through to our changing area so you can change into your swimwear.
We are a barefoot spa so please feel free to bring your own flip-flops. You will then complete a short consultation form, so our therapists know a little more about any areas of concern in order to tailor the treatment to your needs.
If you have access to our Celtic Thermal Suite Experience with your treatment, then we highly recommend exploring this at your leisure before your treatment time. Our spa is a retreat from the outside world and a place to relax and rebalance, so we ask that you always show consideration to other spa users during your visit by keeping noise levels down.
A good starting point for your Celtic Thermal Suite Experience is the experience showers. These are a series of 3 showers, which allow you to control the temperature and pressure of the water.
To get the full benefit of our thermal suite you should incorporate the ice pod in-between the heat rooms.
• The ice tones, refreshes and stimulates the body.
• Reduces cellulite and muscle fatigue.
• Natural rainfall shower for relaxation.
• Multi jet shower to target the whole body.
• Try a cooling shower in-between the heated rooms to tighten pores and wash away any toxins.
• Rub the ice onto your body in a circular motion to increase circulation, firm the skin, tighten pores and exfoliate the skin to encourage cell renewal.
The natural salts are full of vitamins and minerals to aid with healing; they cleanse deeply and help prepare your body for our thermal experience.

This candlelit area is the ideal place to wind down and clear your mind to induce a deep state of relaxation before your return to the resort.

Our Hydrotherapy Pool is different from a regular pool as it is heated to body temperature, this provides a relaxing environment and invaluable help for joint and muscular tensions. The water allows your muscles to relax, whilst supporting your body weight, helping you to move at ease. The overhead and underwater jets can assist with tension in your upper back, shoulders, neck and lower back; helping with headaches, sleep disorders and nerve pain.
Steam rooms are the first step towards a natural detoxifying journey. They open up pores to release trapped toxins and let the botanical elements be absorbed into the skin, comforting the mind, hydrating the skin and promoting a natural healthy glow. The steam room is especially beneficial for helping arthritis, acne, asthma and muscle aches.
The marine extracts in the steam will invigorate your senses, helping to cleanse and detoxify the mind, body and soul.
The herbal steam room is a calming room perfect for those with sinusitis and respiratory issues. The herbal medley will help clear airways and relieve congestion, helping you to breathe with ease.
The intense heat of a sauna increases blood flow and induces perspiration to flush toxins from the body. Saunas help create a stronger immune system by increasing the production of white blood cells which help fight infection.
This is the highest heat intensity room within the spa, which is self-regulated with Pembrokeshire bracken scent and a moist heat. The essence within the room is rich in Vitamin A and contains anti-inflammatory properties and Omega 3.
The brick sauna provides a dry heat which self-regulates for warming relaxation. It is beneficial for those wanting to relieve muscular aches, pains and tension.

To help us to meet our environmental goals - and to cut down on the amount of slippers that were ending up in the bin - we have decided to become a barefoot spa!
However, if you would like to wear your own footwear around the spa, then you are more than welcome to. Flip-flops will also be available to purchase from reception for just £2 and you can take them home with you too!

We recommend you arrive 15 minutes in advance of your treatment, to allow sufficient time to complete a Spa Consultation Form. Please be advised that late arrivals will result in a reduction of treatment time. All you need to bring with you is your swimwear, we will provide a towel and robe during your visit.
A 100% charge will be incurred for any treatment not cancelled at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled time.
If you are booking the spa as part of a larger party please advise reservations. They will be able to offer more co-ordinated timings of treatments to enhance your experience.
