90% of the planet's fish stocks are overexploited. To help support sustainable fishing, you can choose fish products which are caught locally, using low impact fishing gear. When possible, eat fish which has been caught in the permitted season, which is not below the minimum catch size and ordinances. Avoid purchasing vulnerable or endangered species.
