Blue Q table lamps are little marvels of engineering and art! They assemble in moments with a simple twist of a brass nut and feature stunning art that brings a warm, soft glow to any space. The minimal use of materials truly makes them “green light”; lamps are individually hand made with recycled paper, water-based glue and traditional techniques unchanged for centuries. We have collaborated with some of our favorite artists to make an affordable addition to any décor, and a useful, unique Blue Q gift.

ArtBird is Roy Fox who, as a child, spent many hours removing pages from his mother’s magazines, cutting them into bits and pasting them into shapes. Roy began working professionally as a collage artist after graduating from Marlboro College, VT in 1973, where he spent three years hiding from the U.S. Army.

Roy culls images from his extensive collection of ephemera, books and scrap material and also photographs elements for his artwork.

Roy is a proud member of The Bob Band: “all Dylan all the times.” His mother officially forgave him for defacing her Ladies’ Home Journals on her deathbed in 2006.
