BY DANIELLE VARRASSO What is your favorite memory of playing lacrosse at Granville? A: Coach Bob hitting the stanky leg after we beat Valley 20-8. Q: What are you most excited about for this season?QA: I am most excited to win a lot of games and score a lot of goals and celebrate with my best friends on and off the field.

Q: How does it feel being a senior leader?

A: To be a senior leader comes with a lot of responsibility, but it feels great to be the one that the team the younger kids and community look up to.

Q: What are your expectations for the team?

A: I expect everyone on the team to give their 100% effort everyday.

Q: What are you most proud of in your high school career?

A: I am most proud of being a 4-year varsity athlete.

Q: What led you to choose Belmont Abbey to continue your career?

A: I chose Belmont Abbey because they excel in the entrepreneurial field, it is 10 minutes outside of Charlotte, and, lastly, they have a record of being a strong lacrosse program.

Q: If you could give one piece of advice to underclassmen what would it be?

A: If I could give a piece of advice to all the underclassmen, it would be to hit the wall.

Q: How would you describe the spirit of the team this year?

A: The team has a ton of energy and confidence this year. Every practice is competitive.

Q:Why did you choose lacrosse over other sports you played?

A: I enjoy playing lacrosse a lot more than any other sport I played in the past because it is very fast paced.

Q: What is your main goal for this season?

A: My main goal for this season is to beat New Albany and DeSales. Also I want to make it further than the second round in the playoffs.

Q: What has been your favorite part of playing high school lacrosse?

A: My favorite part of playing high school lacrosse is all the great memories I have made with the team and the work it takes to progress as a team throughout the season to be a great team.

Q: How would you describe the chemistry of the team this year?

A: We are all very close and it helps a lot because we are able to trust each other.
