WHAT IS THE TEMPLATE MAIL PROGRAM?
The template mail program allows you to have professional mail pieces at a discounted rate because your pieces are part of a template — a layout and design that cannot change from candidate to candidate. The program is further discounted by “gang printing,” which means approving and printing two or four pieces together across multiple campaigns.
PRICING
Pricing includes targeting, design, printing, two professional proofs, data processing, and mail shop fees.
Postage and shipping are not included and are billed at cost.
Blue Nation works exclusively with union printers and mail houses.
Due to the aggressive print schedule, we WILL NOT be able to remove voters as they turn in their ballots.
If you would like to remove voters as they vote, you will need to break up your gang printing schedule.
Payment is due in full on the approval date.
To maximize cost savings, we encourage campaigns to two or four gang pieces, which requires either two or four pieces to be approved and printed at the same time.

In 2022, one slate ran a full eight-piece plan; most candidates and slates ran two to four pieces. The schedule below lays out an eight-piece plan timeline. With the shoot timeline laid out above, we will have four weeks post-still shoot to produce and start signing off on the mail piece for the slate program.
