Leadership Perspective: Setting the Direction
This year marked a meaningful step forward in how we bring our purpose to life at Blue Federal Credit Union.
As expectations evolve and new opportunities emerge, our direction remains clear. We are here to be a lifelong champion for our members and communities—helping them discover pathways to possibilities and move forward with confidence.

In 2025, we made meaningful progress in strengthening the experiences that matter most. We continued to elevate our digital member experience—introducing enhancements that made everyday banking more intuitive, more secure, and more accessible across channels. From improvements within Blue Digital to expanded self-service capabilities, we focused on removing friction and giving members greater control and confidence in how they manage their financial lives.
We also introduced new products and solutions designed to meet members where they are and support where they are going. Whether through expanded credit offerings, new business banking capabilities, or continued growth of Blue University, these innovations were built to provide practical tools, guidance, and flexibility for every stage of the financial journey.

Boost Center: Support That Meets You Where You Are
When life gets heavy, people do not just need information—they need someone in their corner. The Boost Center reflects Blue’s belief that financial well-being is built through support, connection, and practical next steps. It helps individuals move forward by connecting them to resources, guidance, and ongoing encouragement when they need it most.
The Boost Center is more than a community resource center—it is a promise to uplift and strengthen the heart of our community. By partnering with trusted local nonprofits and charities, the Boost Center serves as a community resource hub, connecting people with the organizations best equipped to help—especially when the needs are urgent.
But support does not stop once the immediate challenge is addressed. The Boost Center continues to walk alongside individuals, helping them navigate next steps, address additional concerns, and build a path toward lasting financial independence— because moving forward is easier when you do not have to do it alone.

The Champion/Hero Pathway: Support Beyond the First Step
More than a one-time referral, the Boost Center offers a longer-term, relationship-based support option through the Champion/Hero Financial Pathways Program. This program is designed to help people move from immediate challenges to sustained stability— pairing a “Hero” (the person working toward their goals) with a “Champion” (a consistent support partner) to provide encouragement, guidance, and accountability over time.
The program reinforces the Boost Center’s commitment to do more than respond in the moment. It reflects Blue’s mission in action: meeting people where they are, staying connected beyond the first step, and helping build momentum toward greater stability and independence. 514

In 2025, the Blue Foundation awarded $19,500 in scholarships to support students across our footprint as they take the next step toward their goals.

Blue’s community commitment also extends through our sponsorships—supporting events and organizations that strengthen local connection, opportunity, and well-being across the communities we serve. Sponsorship and donation requests are accepted year-round and reviewed regularly, reflecting an ongoing commitment to mission-aligned work in our markets.
In 2025, Blue provided $109,675 in sponsorships to community organizations—an investment that helps local partners expand their reach, advance their missions, and create experiences that bring people together.

The Blue Partnership is Blue’s business development network—built to support employers, nonprofits, and organizations across our footprint by helping the people behind them thrive. Today, Blue partners with more than 1,000 businesses and nonprofits across Colorado and Wyoming, providing a valuable, no-cost benefit to organizations and a high-impact suite of resources for employees.
The value shows up in real, everyday ways—through access to credit union membership, personalized support, and financial tools that help people feel more confident in every chapter of life.
A Space Sponsored by Blue
One of the most tangible ways we expand what is possible is through the Blue Community Events Center, located at Blue World Headquarters in Cheyenne. With nearly 7,000 square feet, built-in A/V, and an outdoor plaza, it is designed to host everything from nonprofit fundraisers to community gatherings.
Just as important as the space is the purpose behind it: the space is offered free to support the Cheyenne community.

Each event day carries a rental value of over $2,500—a cost community groups do not have to absorb because Blue covers it. In 2025 alone, that commitment translates to approximately $330,000 in sponsored rental fees—direct financial relief that helps local organizations focus more dollars on programming, people, and impact.

Strength That Supports Every Journey
At Blue, strength is never measured only by numbers. It is measured by what those numbers make possible for the members and communities we serve. As a cooperative, our financial strength exists for a purpose: to protect trust, create long-term value, and ensure we can continue showing up for people through every stage of life.
In 2025, that strength remained clear across the organization. Blue closed the year with more than $2.17 billion in assets, more than 142,000 members, and a capital ratio of 8.61%, reinforcing our position as a well-capitalized credit union prepared to support long-term growth, manage risk responsibly, and continue investing in member value.
That foundation matters because it allows Blue to do more than remain stable. It allows us to lend with confidence, invest in better experiences, support our communities, and stay steady in times of change. In 2025, total loans exceeded $1.81 billion, with more than $633 million in new loan originations helping members buy homes, finance vehicles, grow businesses, and move forward with confidence. At the same time, Blue delivered more than $12.3 million in net income and improved net interest margin to 3.63%, reflecting disciplined financial management in a dynamic environment.
This strength is also supported by a deep commitment to accountability and sound governance. Blue’s Supervisory Committee, together with internal audit and an independent external auditing firm, helps ensure the credit union continues to operate in a safe and sound manner, with strong internal controls and accurate financial reporting. That oversight reinforces the trust our members place in Blue and helps protect the financial foundation that supports everything we do.
Built on more than 75 years of cooperative service, Blue enters 2026 with strong capital, disciplined performance, and a clear sense of purpose. We will continue using that strength the way it is meant to be used: to serve members well, invest in what matters next, and expand what is possible across the communities we call home.

Your Supervisory Committee Report
Blue Federal Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee consists of five member volunteers, appointed by the Board of Directors, and is tasked with the responsibility of ensuring the Credit Union is operating in a safe and sound manner.
This responsibility is accomplished in two ways. First, by engaging with an external independent auditing firm to ensure the accuracy of Blue Federal Credit Union’s financial statements and member accounts. Second, by working with the Internal Audit Department to provide oversight of internal control systems and assurance to the Board of Directors and our fellow members that appropriate controls are in place.
It is the opinion of the Supervisory Committee that Blue Federal Credit Union has met required financial reporting objectives and continues to operate in a safe and sound manner.
