In-line Pick and Place module. The card attachment market is evolving, and so has the technology used to process these applications. It is more important than ever to have an affordable, single, integrated workflow, allowing mailers to meet the fulfillment requirements spanning Financial, Healthcare, Insurance and other transactional applications work that require cards. BlueCrest’s high-speed Pick and Place card attaching module cycles up to 18K per hour and can attach 1 or 2 cards to a carrier prior to folding. This configuration is ideal
for applications that require attaching and folding cards inside the carrier, versus attaching to the outer panel. The module has a unique folding mechanism which folds the carrier after the card is attached. Additional features are variable printing on the carrier, match verification to verify the correct card was placed on the correct document and auto-resynchronization of the system following a misfeed of card or carrier. Once the card is attached, it continues along the inserter paper path until the mail piece is inserted and sealed.

Together with the BlueCrest Direct Connect operating system you can also boost tracking and integrity processes, eliminating costly errors caused by manual job re-synching and saving valuable time. The right card is matched to the right carrier every time. In the event more than one card is fed, self-calibrating double-detect technology allows the operator to easily remove the unmatched content and automatically resynch and restart the process.
What’s more, the BlueCrest integrated card attaching module is not a dedicated system, which means the inserter can be used for non-card applications. The module can be also be removed in a matter of hours, allowing you to maximize the speed and flexibility of your high-speed inserter for standard mailing applications.
