We are a local woodworking business in Sacramento, California specializing in kitchen goods. We make pieces for your home and have worked closely with restaurants, shops, designers and other trades.
For our kitchen products, we use natural hardwoods treated with food safe oils and waxes.
In our catalog, you will find our various board collections named after forests and wooded areas and historical land marks in the United Kingdom where our lead woodworker/owner is from.

WOOD GRAINS
Edge-Grain
End-Grain
Edge-Grain - Boards made from the edge-grain of the wood have horizontal grains. Edge-grain cutting boards require less upkeep compared to end-grain cutting boards. The wood will soak up less moisture and are less likely to warp or crack if not oiled regularly. Most of the serving, charcuterie and cheese boards you will find in this catalog is made of Edge-Grain. You will also find some of our cutting boards made with Edge Grain.
End-Grain - Boards made from the end-grain of the wood have vertical grains. These boards are the most durable and strongest, are better for your knives, and chef preferred. They require more wood and take longer to make, and therefore come with a higher price tag. The patterns can be unpredictable and harder to replicate, making it more unique.
Each board may vary in color/grain due to the natural variations of the wood, therefore they may look different from what is pictured. Wooden boards are much better for your knives compared to plastic or glass cutting boards.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
Our boards are made with premium quality hardwoods. The wood has been treated with food safe oils and wax to help maintain longevity and create a moisture barrier. Use our Block and Bowl Board Butter, or mineral oil or other board waxes once a month or more frequently if needed. If you are cleaning your board more often, apply board butter more frequently.
Do not place in the dishwasher. Clean your cutting board with MILD dish soap and water. Dry thoroughly with a towel. DO NOT Use steel brushes on the surface.
Do not soak in liquid or let liquid and wet meat stand for long periods of time on the board. It can cause the wood to expand and soften which can affect the strength of the board and change its shape.
Store in a dry area away from extreme temperatures, and do not leave in the heat or sun.
