AS THE CITY SLEEPS
El Paso, TX
instagram.com/asthecitysleepsmusic facebook.com/asthecitysleepsmusic
What started as an acoustic solo project by singer/songwriter Allan Martinez, As The City Sleeps soon became a duo with long-time friends and collaborator Alex Fraire joining the project as producer and later offering his guitar services. The two soon began recording what is now their debut 5 song EP ‘Synesthesia’ (2017). Inspired by earthy acoustic guitars, dreamy vocals, and lyrical themes that range from love-loss, to a cold embrace from the night, to a perpetual fall from the clouds. The duo then recruited Jimmy Quintanar on drums and Esdhin Ávila on bass guitar and have since become a full outfit of seasoned musicians.

THE JAWS OF BROOKLYN
Seattle, WA
instagram.com/jawsofbrooklyn facebook.com/jawsofbrooklyn
Jaws of Brooklyn formed when Zia Uddin,Paul Christofferson, and Bryan Cohen met singer Lindsay Love in Seattle during the height of the COVID pandemic in August 2020. They recorded a series of 60’s flavored Rock n’ Roll and Soul demos in Cohen’s basement, which included background vocal contributions from Black Pumas’ Lauren Cervantes. The demos caught the ear of Alabama Shakes keyboardist Ben Tanner, Fitz and the Tantrums, and Lady Blackbird writer/producer Chris Seefried. In May of 2021, they traveled to Florence, Alabama – Sundrop Sound - and cut their debut record, The Shoals. The result is a slab of 60’s inspired Garage Rock and Soul with fun percussion, 60’s girl group background vocals and simple arrangements.

CARVER COMMODORE
Florence, AL
instagram.com/carvercommodore facebook.com/carvercommodore
Carver commodore is an alternative rock band from the modest town of Florence, Alabama. The band is composed of guitarist and vocalist Payton Pruitt, guitarist Phillip Blevins, drummer Noah Freeman, multiinstrumentalist Clayton Christopher, and bassist David Smith JR. In contrast to the “swampy, soulful sound” that put their hometown on the map, carver is known for fusing garage, indie, and pop influences into stadium-worthy rock anthems. Modern alt-giants like cage the elephant, jack white, and the strokes tend to inform carver’s guitar-laden hooks, recording aesthetics, and signature sticky songcraft.

Writing music for more than half her life, Chloe Tang’s untapped potential was showcased when she opened a 4,000 cap room for pop superstar, Dua Lipa in 2018 in a venue she had worked security at just months prior. Since this full circle moment, Chloe has been writing and performing music in Los Angeles. Working independently with some of the biggest up and coming writers/ producers like Shawn Wasabi, Chizzy, and Bruce Wiegner. Between the emotionally-liberating anthems, and the sultry, often dark side of life as a creative; Chloe jokes her music says: “love me, but leave me alone”.
