GTA Consultants are one of Australia’s largest transport consultancies and came to Blick for a complete rebrand, keeping only their existing logo. Blick stripped the colour palette right back using predominantly greyscale images with green highlights for emphasis.

Share STYLE GUIDE

Blick has worked with Share, the fundraising arm of the Uniting Church Vic/Tas, for over 10 years. Share collateral needs to balance a sense of urgency for those in need with the hope that Share delivers.

Spectrum came to Blick to reinvigorate their brand and capture their endearing spirit through a completely new logo design. This logo is now used throughout Spectrum’s entire suite of marketing collateral to convey their purpose: to help people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds feel at home in Australia.

Rubiix BRANDING

Rubiix came to Blick for the full package: a new name, new logo and new brand roll-out. Strong purple and contrasting lime together with angled shapes immediately reflect the unique nature of this accountancy firm. The two ii’s in the logo are a mathematical symbol and represent the partnership between accountant and client.

Pancake Day MARKETING CAMPAIGN

Pancake Day is one of UnitingCare’s key annual fundraisers and one that Blick participates in every year. In 2016, Blick was asked to update the logo mark to appeal to a younger audience. We designed all promotional items for the campaign, using bold stacked type to represent stacks of pancakes.

Every year, Operation Santa partners with Target Australia to gather Christmas gift donations for disadvantaged children.

As part of the promotional material, Blick designed bright ‘pick me’ swing tags for donors to choose from and use as gift labels.

Featuring striking abstract aerial city scapes contrasted with bold wax-seal facts, Blick developed a microsite and promotional campaign of DL flyers to complement the Property Council’s ‘The Facts are Black and White’ Report.

Bitu-mill specialise in road maintenance, rehabilitation and civil construction. The cover imagery enforces the shapes in the logo whilst also showing off Bitu-mill’s core service delivery.

The Olympus brand is synonymous with innovation and technical expertise, which was conveyed in the sleek corporate brochures Blick designed for Olympus.

In this Monitoring tool, the handbook text is set to large to aid comprehension by non-primary English speakers. Since publication, the handbook has been translated into Lao and reprinted.

Blick flew to Vietnam for a three-day photoshoot to provide images for these photo flash cards. They are used in conjunction with the easy to follow handbook.

A limited number of pages to convey significant research findings meant we had to cleverly maximise space in this report, which was presented to the Australian Government in Canberra. Our solution – using images as part of the white space.

Blick designed an Annual Report for Share to express their company values and achievements throughout 2015. This clearly conveys the valuable work that Share does to restore life, joy and hope to disadvantaged people and those in crisis and disaster situations in Australia and overseas.

The design result is warm and engaging, with different textures and tones used to draw attention to key statements.

The exciting thing with this report is it was created in a print version as well as a unique online website version, which allows Share’s audience to read and interact with the report online. shareannualreport.org.au 50

The National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) offers Australia’s only tertiary qualification in Circus Performance. Drawing inspiration from live circus shows, the Annual Report from the last three years are edgy, inspiring and full of movement.

Plan has continued to use the photo cards in Vietnam and have received great feedback about the positive images that Blick created.

The team at Blick really came up trumps when I asked them to design six labels for the new range of Outback Chef Australian teas, the only hitch being there was just a couple of weeks from start to finish to complete the job as I was on my way to Japan for Foodex Tokyo.

The teas were to be exhibited at the Victorian Government’s stand and presented to a whole new market. With speed and efficiency the creative forces of Blick went into action and produced some amazing labels that I was delighted with. They were perfect.
