The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrist (RANZCP) welcomes you as a new Trainee or Specialist International Medical Graduate (SIMG).

Welcome RANZCP is the principal organization responsible for training, educating and representing the medical specialty of psychiatry in Australia and New Zealand.

The College’s vision is to enhance the mental health of our nations through leadership in high quality psychiatric care.

This guide will provide you with key information about the college and your membership. It will also help guide you on ways to keep yourself on track throughout your training and where you can get assistance if needed.

STRUCTU RE

Structure & Governance The RANZCP is governed by a Board of seven directlyelected directors who are fellows of the College and are led by the College President.

Many of the activities and functions of the College are driven by a large number of committees and supported by its employees, who are led by the Chief Executive Officer.
