Story and photo by Celeste Lodewyk When a close friend has to shave their head after cancer treatment what do you do? You get a group of mates together to shave theirs too. That is what four work colleagues at Russells Paint and Panel will be doing this Friday in support of their friend, and of the Marlborough Cancer Society. Business owner Malc Russell and his employees Andrew Frew, Nick Berry and Daniel Ryan (pictured) will go under the shaver at 12:30pm, and for them there will be no regrets. “Someone we care a lot about had to shave their head because of cancer and were a little embarrassed, so Andrew suggested we all do the same to show we are supporting them 100 per cent,” Malc said.
