Juan J. Bermudez and Adriel Longo, electrical engineers, met in the early 1960’s while working together for a large foreigner Electrical contractor in Puerto Rico. In 1962, they decided to venture into their own construction business 100% based on the island.

The company originally specialized in the electrical construction of housing projects but as the demand increased and expanded, commercial projects were carried out. In the mid 70’s the company also began to work in industrial facilities, and the mechanical división was born in 1980.

2006 saw the beginning of Bermudez, Longo, Díaz-Massó, LLC as known today, when Bermudez & Longo S.E. joined forces with Díaz-Massó Inc., a company that was previously founded in 1994, to establish a stronger way to build strategies facing the 21st century. In 2022, a younger generation leads the way and has taken our company to a new level, following the path of success throughout six decades.
