WHERE ARE WE STAYING?

After the ski meeting with families, students will get together with the Trip Leaders one lunchtime and plan their rooming - usually in groups of 4, 5, or 6. More details of the student rooming meeting to follow.

Please note - the beds are ‘Austrian Doubles’ which are 2 single mattresses, in a double bed frame, with 2 single duvets.

We’ll be having breakfast & dinner at the hotel, and hot lunches on the slopes which keeps walking in ski boots and carrying skis to a minimum!

As above, the hotel is also where our Après Ski will happen; games nights, quizzes as well as disco and pizza evening - to give a few examples!

PISTE MAP

Our travel itinerary ; as with all timings and long journeys - this is subject to change and we will advise of any changes via email (before the trip departs school)

Friday 13th February - Departure Day;

Please arrive at West Wing Reception at 7.30pm (Parents & Carers please park in front of the East Wing sports hall - right at the top of the drive, not near the coaches)

Students should have had their evening meal and be changed into their travel clothes. Please be aware that there will be no toilets open at school - so please make sure they go to the toilet before arriving!

Students should have their snacks for the journey, a water bottle, breakfast and lunch for the next day There will be food available to purchase on the Ferry and at stops on the way - but this can be expensive

Friday 20th February - Return Home Day;

We will depart our Hotel late on Thursday 19th of February after a final full day on the slopes, showers and dinner and will arrive back to school on Saturday 22nd of February at approximately 11pm We will issue mobile phone numbers and social media information the week before the trip

The coach journey is very long, but we have executive coaches.

Students should dress for comfort & warmth not style! Take your travel sickness pills before departure if you need them (more on medicine on page 6)

A pillow is a good idea for the coach DVDs for the journey, give these to Mr. King (as this is a mixed age group trip - nothing above a PG please) Bring games to play on the coach, but expensive electronic games or gadgets are brought at your own risk; staff can’t take responsibility for them and they are not insured. You can bring headphones but no speakers

Sensible food and drinks to last the journey (enough for lunch, dinner & breakfast)

Absolutely no chewing gum, fizzy drinks or sugary sweets on the coach please

PACKING/KIT LIST

You will need ski clothes for the day and some casual clothes for the evening, however many students pack far too much; you honestly don't need a different outfit and shoes for every day! There is only space in the hold of the coaches for 1 medium 'soft' bag each (not a hard suitcase) so please...be selective and plan on wearing most things more than once!
