OUR PLATINUM SILICONE

Before being molded into our products, silicone starts out as a soft gel or liquid material. Once formed into a shape, the silicone must be cured, or hardened, to remain solid. Bumkins uses the highest quality curing process—platinum curing. The platinum curing process does not result in the creation of any by-products, ensuring you get the purest silicone.

Benefits of Platinum Curing Agents vs Peroxide Agents:

• Increased durability • Better resistance to staining, odors, and bacteria • More stick resistance, so foods wash off easily • Less likely for dust and dirt to stick • Considered cleaner and purer than peroxide; primarily used in silicone medical devices

APPLIANCE SAFE

Our dishware and utensils are dishwasher safe, heat safe up to 400°F/204°C, and with silicone's durable nature, can go straight from microwave to freezer for a quick cool down.

STRONG SUCTION BASE

We know a lot of food hits the floor during mealtime. Thanks to our strong suction bases, we're helping to stop those dishes from joining them! Plus, our strong suction bases are great for baby-led weaning and self-feeding, keeping the dish from scooting or sliding.

LAB-TESTED, FOOD SAFE + SAFETY FIRST!

We use third-party labs to test all of our silicone products, including their colorings, to ensure that they meet all safety standards set forth by the CPSIA. Unlike plastic, silicone does not contain any petroleum-based plastics or toxic chemicals like BPA, BPS, lead, or phthalates. It is also nontoxic to animals and marine life.

DURABILITY GUARANTEED

Silicone is extremely durable, easy to care for and safe to use. During creation, silicone can be "cured" with two types of curing agents. We use the best one—platinum. When cured with platinum, there are no by-products created, and the silicone's already fabulous qualities are amplified. Our dishes colors stay bright, while also being naturally bacteria, mold, and fungus resistant. Our dishes also feature a smooth finish, so there's nowhere for food to even get trapped!
