The Awakening
In my Undergraduate Thesis project, I focused on my passion for electronic music. Glasgow, once a thriving city of industry, nightlife and cuture, experienced devastation during the Covid-19 Pandemic as the nightlife industry faced unimanagable decline. Thus, this underground utopia for countercultures, will re-discover Glasgow’s cultural identity and stay true to her industrial past, as the city’s nightlife sets sail into the future.

A place to revive in a restless environment, this bespoke activation invites those at a music festival who seek a healthy haven. Constructed with re-purposed scaffolding, the design has a focus on sustainability and encourages the youth to embark on a journey to wellness.
Muirhouse and Cramond Island, Edinburgh
In my Masters Thesis project I reacted to Scotland’s drug crisis. By creating a rehabilitation programme for struggling drug addicts, the project focused on finding meaning through architectural interventions. By growing crops, creating art, and performing music, it advicates purpose for those who struggle with life in a stigmatised country.
Liberec, Czech Republic
I studied in Prague for an Erasmus exchange semester during my third year of University. Amongst immersing in a different culture, I also designed an extension to a 19th century theatre in Liberec. A new centre for dramatic arts, it links to the existing building, and also creates a connection for the city to the public realm.
The concept for this library project focuses on a forest and the calming atmosphere that inspirits it. The integral space is the reading room, where structural columns symbolise a metophorical forest. Skylights within the canopy above allow natural light to pour through voids in the trunk of the building, forming a tranquil environment to learn in.
