Originally commissioned by Ethan Millington for The Quintessential Brass Quintet at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, "The Trials of Love" takes us inside the heart of a hero as he must choose between protecting his public, and being with the person he loves. "With great power comes great responsibility," - Stan Lee. In this piece, the hero contemplates if must accept these facts.
