Handcrafted in the Pacific Northwest, Haiku embodies a poetic homage to nature. Our line of bags and accessories, like a haiku poem, infuses beauty and purpose into the ordinary, offering just what is essential, neither more nor less.

As a female-owned and operated venture, our mission is to empower fellow women to embrace vibrant, active lifestyles. With a deep appreciation for nature, we are committed to reducing our ecological footprint using recycled materials in our products. On average, each bag repurposes the equivalent of nine plastic water bottles, which contributes to the preservation of our planet’s landfills and oceans.

Since 2011, we’ve been taking post-consumer plastic bottles destined for the landfill and giving them a new purpose as the main fabric for our core collection as well as all of our linings.

This is when the magic happens: our durable, recycled polyester fabric is sewn into unique bags and accessories that are as functional as they are stylish.

First the bottles are sorted and washed. Once dry, they get crushed into tiny flakes, which are then melted into smaller, denser pellets. These pellets are extruded into polyester fibers that are then woven into durable, eco-friendly fabric.

Haiku Bags are not only made out of eco-friendly materials, they are built to last. Sustainability goes beyond the materials we use, and our quality products stand up to your everyday adventures.

Our wristlet wallet takes what we love about our RFID mini wallet and adds a little bit extra.
