Our intention is not to limit enjoyment, but to create an environment where members can feel confident that their children are safe, accountable, and enjoying the Club responsibly. By working together, we can continue to provide an exceptional experience for members and families alike. These rules for conduct and expectations are intended for all dependents on the Club Membership.
Definition of Dependent
A dependent is identified as a child of the primary member or spouse who is unmarried and under the age of 25.
Respect for the Club Environment
Dependents are expected to conduct themselves in a courteous and respectful manner toward fellow members, guests, & Club staff at all times. The Club is a shared space, and consideration for others is essential to maintaining an enjoyable experience for everyone.
Age Requirements & Supervision
To ensure the safety of all members, dependents, and guests, the following age requirements apply throughout the Club.
General Club Access
Dependents must be at least 14 years of age to utilize the Main Clubhouse, Main Clubhouse Pool, and Locker Rooms without a parent or guardian present.
Dependents must be at least 16 years of age to utilize the Club Fitness Facility unless they have been cleared by a club manager and understand rules and safety.
Dependents under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while utilizing these facilities.
Dependents are not permitted to operate any motor vehicle, including electric golf carts, on Club property unless they possess a valid driver's license and are legally authorized to drive.
Dependents must have a parent present when utilizing Club Shuttle services through the age of 14.
Fitness Facility Acess
Dependents must be at least 16 years of age to utilize the Club Fitness Facility.
Exceptions may be granted by Club Management on a case-by-case basis. Approved dependents must review and adhere to all Fitness Facility rules and safety requirements.
Dependents 17 and under with fitness facility access may use the fitness facility between the hours 11am & 8pm.
Golf Course Access & Golf Carts
Dependents must possess a valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on Club property.
Golf cart operators are expected to be familiar with and follow all golf cart rules, safety requirements, and Club regulations.
The Club reserves the right to suspend golf cart privileges for unsafe operation or failure to follow Club policies.
The View Pool Access
Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while utilizing The View Pool.
If accompanied by a caregiver, the caregiver must be at least 16 years of age and remain within sight of the child at all times.
The View Amenities Access
Children under the age of 14 utilizing the courts, Event Lawn, or Activity Center at The View must have a parent, guardian, or approved caregiver present somewhere on The View property and regularly check in with them.

As an exception, dependents under the age of 14 may be granted independent access privileges through the Club's Junior Access Program. Participation requires a signed Parent & Dependent Acknowledgement Form, review of all applicable Club rules and safety expectations, and approval from Club Management.
Dependents participating in the Junior Access Program are expected to follow all Club rules, facility guidelines, and staff direction at all times. The Club reserves the right t suspend or revoke Junior Access privileges at its discretion.
Dress Code & Appearance
As an extension of membership privileges, dependents are expected to adhere to the Club's dress code while utilizing Club facilities and amenities. Appropriate attire helps maintain the standards and atmosphere of the Club while ensuring a comfortable experience for all members and guests.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to review Club dress code expectations with their dependents prior to their visit and are responsible for ensuring compliance.
Golf Course & Practice Facilities
Proper golf attire is required for all dependents utilizing the golf course, practice facilities, golf simulator, and instructional areas.
Acceptable Attire
Gentlemen: Collared golf shirts, golf pants or golf shorts, closed-toe golf or athletic shoes
Ladies: Golf tops with a collar or sleeves, golf skirts, skorts, shorts, dresses, capris, or pants of appropriate length, closed-toe golf or athletic shoes
Not Permitted: denim, athletic or gym shorts, clothing with offensive language or graphics, swimwear.
Clubhouse & Dining Venues
Dependents should be dressed in neat, clean, and appropriate attire for a private club environment.
Not Permitted: Bare feet, wet swimwear without an appropriate cover-up, clothing displaying offensive language or graphics, attire deemed excessively revealing
Fitness Center & Courts
Appropriate athletic attire and athletic footwear are required. For the comfort of all members: Shirts and appropriate athletic bottoms must be worn at all times. Closed-toe athletic shoes are required unless participating in an approved activity where otherwise permitted.
Pool & Lake Amenities
Swimwear is permitted only in designated pool, beach, and waterfront areas. When traveling through other Club spaces, dependents should wear: Appropriate coverups over swim attire & footwear.
General Conduct
The Club is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for members of all ages. Dependents are expected to use Club amenities responsibly, follow posted rules and staff direction, and demonstrate courtesy and respect toward fellow members, guests, and Club employees. Parents and guardians remain responsible for the conduct of their dependents and any guests they sponsor. As an extension of membership, dependent privileges may be limited or suspended if Club policies or standards of conduct are not observed.
Appropriate Use of Amenities
Dependents should only utilize Club amenities in accordance with posted rules, age requirements, and Club policies. Certain amenities and events may be reserved for adults or require parental supervision.
Check-In & Reservations
When utilizing Club amenities independently, dependents may be required to check in, maintain a reservation, or otherwise identify themselves upon arrival. This allows the Club to better ensure safety, monitor facility usage, and provide appropriate service.
Supervision & Accountability
Parents and guardians remain responsible for the conduct, behavior, and adherence to Club rules of their dependents and any guests accompanying them.
Respect for Staff
Club employees are responsible for enforcing Club policies and ensuring a positive experience for all members. Dependents are expected to follow staff direction promptly and respectfully.
Safety First
For the safety and well-being of all members, dependents should remain within designated Club areas, observe all facility-specific rules, and immediately report any concerns, injuries, or emergencies to Club staff.
Member Privileges
Dependent privileges are an extension of membership and may be limited, suspended, or revoked if Club policies, rules, or standards of conduct are not followed.
Alcohol Consumption
To ensure compliance with Idaho law and maintain a safe Club environment, all dependents and their guests must adhere to the following:
The legal drinking age in the State of Idaho is 21 years of age.
Dependents and dependent guests under the age of 21 may not purchase, possess, or consume alcoholic beverages on Club property.
Dependents who are of legal drinking age may be asked to present a valid government-issued ID when purchasing or consuming alcohol.
Club staff reserve the right to refuse service if valid identification cannot be provided.
Dependents are responsible for the conduct of any guests accompanying them and must ensure their guests comply with all Club policies and applicable laws.
Failure to comply with alcohol-related laws or Club policies may result in the suspension or loss of dependent privileges.
