ADVERTORIAL FEATURE

Dr. Aly Kanani and his team see patients of all ages No one should be afraid to smile, but for many people, crooked or misaligned be. Dr. Aly Kanani and his team wants to change that. His mission, along with his staff, is to restore and help create that smile and confidence, just as he’s done for thousands of others. Born in the Lower Mainland, Dr. Aly Kanani is an experienced Orthodontist and Invisalign® Provider, having treated approximately 20,000 patients in our community and over 4,000 Invisalign patients to date. Dr. Kanani is one of only two others in British Columbia for his extensive experience with Invisalign® and Invisalign® Teen. He’s passionate about helping both children and adults achieve the healthy, beautiful smile they deserve. “My goal is to create an adult smile for an adolescent to grow into, not an adolescent smile that an adult will grow out of,” he says. Orthodontics doesn’t just straighten your teeth and create healthy smiles: it improves your self-esteem. As you see your smile change, you’ll feel better about your appearance; no longer will you hide your crooked teeth. Your and laugh without concern. Dr. Aly Kanani and his team have been the catalyst for transformation for thousands, using modern techniques and technology. But it’s their passion to make a difference in people’s day to day world that sets them apart. “We dedicate our time and energy towards providing you with excellence in orthodontic care. We believe that excellence in orthodontic care involves informed patients experiencing quality orthodontic treatment in a warm, friendly surrounding. As one of the leading Invisalign® specialists in BC (and also considered to be in the top 1% in North America by Align Technology Inc.) Dr. Kanani has a proven track record of the excellent patient care and satisfaction. He has assembled a team of orthodontic professionals who know precisely what is required to create the beautiful smile you and your loved ones deserve. Dr. Kanani is so passionate about the Invisalign products he was involved in writing All Smiles! A Comprehensive Consumer’s Guide to Orthodontics and Invisalign with seven other leading orthodontists across North America. He wrote the introduction and the chapter on Invisalign. “My team and I have treated more than 4,000 Invisalign patients,” he says.

So much of your positive patient experience happens behind the scenes. Dr. Kanani tell us, “At our offices, we use the latest technologies and treatment techniques designed with your safety in mind. For example, digital radiogra phy protects patients from unnecessary radiation and is also a more environmentally friendly technology, as it avoids the use of harsh chemicals associated with traditional X-ray processing.” which allows for instant access to patient information at each patient chair and is a ‘green’ alternative to paper documents. Technology also plays a role here with the use of intraoral scanning technology to take virtual impressions of a mouth instead of traditional impressions. “Many adult patients come to us for Invisalign or tooth-coloured braces,” noted Dr. Kanani. “Having said that, the Canadian Association of Orthodontists recommends every child have an orthodontics screening exam by age seven to rule out jaw problems like crossbites and underbites and large overbites.” Of course, there’s far more to Dr. Kanani’s world than just Invisalign. He feels that correcting the position of someone’s teeth can improve self-esteem as well “Orthodontics is the modern twist on traditional dental care,” Dr. Kanani said. “It’s a huge responsibility and my team, and I feel honoured every time a new patient entrusts us to care for their smile.” Everyone who lives in the area is proud of their multi-cultural vibe, and it’s the Punjabi, Hindi, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Polish, Farsi, as well as English. recognize that. Dr. Aly Kanani is a lifetime member of the UBC Chancellors Circle for significant donations to UBC to create the double Kanani Conference Rooms used by faculty and students daily. They also support numerous local causes include all levels of schools, Dry Grads, numerous sports teams, Surrey Food Bank, local scholarships, as well as many other charitable endeavors. Peace of mind; award-winning service and a team of professionals who are Dr. Aly Kanani is there for you. Schedule an educational consultation online at alykanani.com.

maybe British Columbia. We also lead the way with Invisalign Teen. It’s a slight variation on the original product, and we’ve done more work with it than anyone in the Valley as well.”
