LONDON DRUGS 2018 AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR CONTEST

CATEGORY WINNER

Among the hottest trends in photo circles – and one of the most challenging to master – is food photography, but as these scrumptious images show, when done well, the results are nothing short of mouthwatering! One of seven categories highlighted in this year’s Amateur Photographer of the Year Contest, hosted by Black Press Media and London Drugs, these ‘Food’ photographs reflect both the unique diversity of our region and the remarkable talent of the amateur photographers capturing its people, places, animals and events. That we live in a remarkable part of the world is evident in the many thousands of powerful images submitted across all categories – images that tell the story of this place we call home … or our home away from home. From those submissions, a panel of judges undertook the challenging task of selecting the very best, which we’re excited to share with you here. Enjoy!

Congratulations to Pia Pedersen! Pia is the Food Category Winner for her Salad Love photograph.
