London Drugs 2018 Amateur Photographer of the Year contest
Category winner
From city skylines to rural landscapes, fall leaves to summer escapes, discover why Western Canadians love where they live in these breathtaking images from across British Columbia, Alberta and the Yukon! One of seven categories highlighted in this year’s Amateur Photographer of the Year Contest, hosted by Black Press Media and London Drugs, these ‘Love Where You Live’ photographs reflect both the unique diversity of our region and the remarkable talent of the amateur photographers capturing its people, places, animals and events. That we live in a remarkable part of the world is evident in the many thousands of powerful images submitted across all categories – images that tell the story of this place we call home … or our home away from home. From those submissions, a panel of judges undertook the challenging task of selecting the very best, which we’re excited to share with you here. Enjoy!
Congratulations to Ryan Watts! Ryan is the Love where you live Category Winner for his Granville St. Bridge at Night photograph.
