Bunny wrangling Penny Veresh has loved animals her entire life
Penny Veresh has been volunteering her time in the bunny room at SAINTS — Senior Animals In Need Today Society — for the past seven years. The retired Mission resident has always loved animals, especially cats and bunnies, but it wasn’t until she retired that she finally had time and the opportunity to volunteer. Veresh said volunteering has allowed her to meet a lot of really good friends and some absolutely wonderful people who have restored her faith in humanity. For more see page A18
