Celebrate Local with Mission’s Business Excellence Awards Nominees The Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce and Board of Directors is pleased to announce this year’s nominees for the 2017 Business Excellence Awards. It is excited to see over 50 businesses from our community selected as nominees in 6 different award categories. On October 19th there will be a Nominees Luncheon to celebrate their achievement, and the whole community is invited! “Events and community engagements such as the Nominees Luncheon will bring more opportunity to highlight our nominees and create more recognition to the value the Business Excellence Awards bring to our local community.” – David Sawatzky, President, Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce. The Business Excellence Nominees luncheon will be held at the Best Western hotel on October 19th from 11:30am–1:30pm and is open to the community to come and show their support. Come out to celebrate with all the nominees and make new connections with the business community. Mission Chamber of Commerce will be keeping with the current model of having a panel of 6 judges and engaging the community for their votes online as the 7th judge. This process will take place over the month of October. The finalists in each category will be announced in December 2017. The winners of the 2017 Business Excellence Awards will be honoured at the Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Gala on January 19th 2018 at the Clarke Theatre in Mission BC. “Connect with your local business owners and celebrate their success at this spectacular event that will focus on the success of all the finalists with an opportunity to network with many of our local business owners,” says Sawatzky.
