This is a 20-year tradition that Langley Advance readers and local businesses embrace, said publisher Lisa Farquharson.

Your community newspaper since 1931, the Langley Advance offered its readers a chance to vote – online or through a newspaper ballot – for Langley businesses they feel deserving of the Best of the Best status.

Readers took the time to vote for their favourites, sending in more than 1,000 ballots.

“Congratulations to all the businesses who are being acknowledged for their outstand-

ing customer service and exceptional quality products – they are the people who help make this community a wonderful place to live, eat, and shop,” Farquharson said.

“Year after year, our readers support their favourites in the community – from their favourite dentist to favourite restaurant, and everything in between.”

Sharing Albert Einstein’s sentiment ‘Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value,’ Farquharson said “all these winning businesses offer great value to our community and their clients and thus are a HUGE SUCCESS!” This year is “extra special” with this being the 20th anniversary of the Langley Advance’s Best of the Best awards, she said. To help mark the occasion, six new categories were added for 2017, including best community volunteer, as well as best day care, green business, art studio, non-profit, and preschool.
