Special Features - Canada 150 Coast to Coast Pride

Page 1

Canada is a big place. Canadians live in provinces larger than entire countries, spread out over nearly ten million square kilometres from the Pacific to the Atlantic to the Arctic. For those of us in British Columbia, the East Coast almost seems like a foreign land; to someone in Whitehorse, the rugged coast of Newfoundland might feel like another planet entirely. To celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Canadian Confederation, we wanted to showcase each of our 10 provinces and 3 territories on their path to Confederation. The result is this special section, Coast-to-Coast Pride. And of course, you’ll find local Abbotsford Canada Day Celebration information in this section too.
