CAMPBELL RIVER has VOTED

Residents of Campbell River entered the 2017 Readers’ Choice campaign in droves, naming their favourite places to eat, shop, fish or even go on a wildlife adventure.

In all, we received 871 entries, accounting for more than 55,300 votes.

The overwhelming response is no surprise, the Campbell River Mirror’s annual campaign continues to gain momentum year after year proving that your community wants to share their experiences when it comes to best businesses, services and places in Campbell River.

As is typical with such polls, there were multiple finalists as well as many “repeat” winners from last year. Finalists were announced and invited to join the Campbell River Mirror for an evening to celebrate the best of Campbell River. The winners are being presented with their awards tonight from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Maritime Heritage Centre.

The MHC is always a spectacular setting in which to hold a social gathering. The grand ambience, spectacular view and seaside

setting naturally generates great conversation and healthy appetites.

Which is great because finalists and guests are joining us for an evening co-hosted by our partners Thrifty Foods, Beach Fire Brewing and Nosh House and 40 Knots Vineyard and Estate Winery. Refreshments and appetizers will be served and live music will be provided by Easy Street Band. A perfect setting for a great evening celebrating the accomplishments of the Campbell River area’s business community.

The awards reflect customer satisfaction with the job done by these dynamic businesses because many of the nominations come from those satisfied customers.

Our annual supplement in support of Reader’s Choice breaks down the winners and top finalists in every one of the 62 categories.
