Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce announces the nominees for the Business Excellence Awards The nominations for the Business Excellence Awards have closed and the nominees for the annual awards of excellence are being announced.

The 2016 Business Excellence Awards began with the “Nominate Me” program that launched in May. The public was encouraged to participate and nominate local businesses and organizations that go above and beyond. There are 6 award categories. On July 31st, 2016 the nominations closed. All entries have been noted and now the Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce is proud to reveal the numerous nominees for their annual Business Excellence Awards.

This

new additional event will give nominees a chance to be recognized for their achievement, with no cost to them. Then, the judging process will commence. The Mission Chamber will be keeping with the current model of having 6 judges and engaging the community for their votes online as the 7th judge. This process will take place over the month of November. The finalists in each category will be announced in early January 2017. The winners of the 2016 Business Excellence Awards will be honored at the Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Gala in February 2017. “This spectacular event will focus on the success of all the finalists with an opportunity to network with many of our local business owners.” says David Sawatzky.
