JUNE 2016 EMBRACE THE JOURNEY For thousands of years, our little spot at the confluence of the Fraser and Coquihalla rivers has been a natural stopping point for travellers journeying to and from the coast. This summer, we invite you to make Hope, Cascades & Canyons your destination. From towering waterfalls to crystal clear swimming holes; from jagged granite peaks to leisurely forest walks; from self-propelled adventure to a motorcyclist’s dream, we have all you need to enjoy the summer.

To make your visit with us more spectacular, we have over a dozen events and festivals happening this summer and fall. So bring your family, friends, and lawn chairs to enjoy all that we have to offer. Stop by the Hope Visitor Centre at 919 Water Avenue, Hope, B.C. or visit hopebc. ca/events for more information on all the events.

JUNE EVENTS MANNING PARK BIRD BLITZ When: June 17-19 Where: Manning Park What: Manning’s diverse mix of coastal, mountain, and interior climates support a huge variety of birds — over 200 species. Established in 1983, the Manning Park Bird Blitz is one of BC’s longest-running bird counts. The event provides a vital service to Manning Park — birders are helping to build a database that now spans over 30 years, giving biologists a better picture of the park’s changing species diversity over time.
