Cranbrook RCMP responded to 187 calls for service between Monday, Aug. 3 and Sunday, Aug. 9. Staff Sgt. Dave Dubnyk provided the details. Aug. 3 2:24 a.m. Police received a request from a local hotel to remove an unwanted guest. 2:28 a.m. Report of a suspicious person on the 1600 block of 2nd
Street North. 8:14 a.m. Report of chronic speeders on an area of 17th Avenue North. 9:00 a.m. Police were requested to keep the peace at a residence while a former resident picked up some belongings. 10:08 a.m. B.C. Ambulance requested assistance in dealing with a male subject on the 500 block of King Street West.

10:30 a.m. Report of an attempted theft at a residence on the 200 block of 21st Street North. 11:59 a.m. Report of an erratic driver. The vehicle was a newer model black Hyundai with an Alberta licence plate. 12:51 p.m. RCMP were requested to keep peace while an individual picked up belongings.
