Campaign for Skeena- Vape and e-cig store Bulkley Valley begins alleges discrimination By Chris Gareau Smithers/Interior News

The longest election campaign in Canada’s modern history has officially been called, with voters heading to the polls Oct. 19 to choose the next federal government. Skeena-Bulkley Valley voters will decide whether to send incumbent NDP MP Nathan Cullen back to Parliament for another term.

First-time candidate Tyler Nesbitt hopes to improve on that result. He was nominated to run for the Conservatives in May. Both candidates have staked out their path to victory, as volunteers start hammering campaign signs in lawns and on boulevards throughout the Northwest. See PARTIES on A8
