If you’re in the market this summer for a great swimming beach where your canine friends welcome, where you can relax in the sun or enjoy a game of volleyball, and where you’ll be sure to find other like-minded lake-goers, stop in at Grouchy’s. If you’re in the mood to leave the valley floor and gain a little elevation, swing by Terrace Mountain this summer and spend some time exploring the T2 and Steinhoe Ridge. These trails are well constructed and engineered, offering a variety of terrains and ride-able features, like boardwalks and rock gardens. These trails can also be ridden at whatever pace is preferable to the rider, allowing both novice and experience mountain bikers to enjoy the trip. That being said, if you’re someone who prefers to travel on foot rather over gear, Terrace Mountain’s main trail likewise makes a great climb.
