www.rimbeyreview.com Sod turning: After many months of behind the scenes planning, a skateboard park could be a reality for Rimbey by this fall, thanks to the local Kinsmen Club. A sod turning for the park was held Monday, June 22 at 2 p.m. on land on the south side of the Lions Park. Local school children were on scene as were members of the Lions Club who donated $50,000 toward the park. Mayor Rick Pankiw manned the backhoe, while community service director Cindy Bowie stood on deck. For more information about the park or to make a donation call Allen Adam at 403-704-9678.
