The Teddy Bear class from Christian Life Children’s Centre got into the Christmas spirit Wednesday morning wearing reindeer antlers during a field trip to Merecroft Village.

The family of a man killed in Campbell River in October is frustrated by the lack of any arrests in the case. “I think everybody is (frustrated),” said Petrina Hildebrand, the sister of Joshua Billy, 37, who was found dead in a duplex carport on Alpine Road at Dogwood Street on Oct. 18. Not only has there been a lack of any arrests, the police have not been forthcoming with any information, Hildebrand said. The only confirmation they can get is that no arrest has been made and that the Vancouver Island Major Crimes Unit is working on it. “At the end of the day, we trust the integrity of the investigation but they better be moving along because time is ticking,” Hildebrand said. A statement from the Campbell River RCMP on Thursday confirmed they were investigating a homicide but the cause of death was being withheld “to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation.” “We have a team of dedicated,
