In Richmond, voters will be electing the next City leaders: a Mayor and eight Councillors for City Council and seven School Trustees for the Richmond Board of Education. Being a voter will: t give you a chance to think about what issues are important to you, what you believe in and what you stand up for. t give you an opportunity to have a say in how things are run in Richmond.
8IP DBO WPUF To be eligible to vote, you must meet all of the following criteria at the time of voting and swear or afďŹ rm a solemn declaration attesting that: t You are a Canadian citizen. t You are, or will be, 18 years of age or older on General Voting Day, Saturday, November 15, 2014. t You have been a resident of British Columbia for at least the last six months. t You have been a resident of Richmond for at least the last 30 days.

If you are already on the Voters List, you should have received a voter card package to bring to the voting place. If you still need to register, you just need to bring the appropriate identiďŹ cation documents to register when it’s time for you to vote.
