Some attendees expressed disappointment at the format, which, because of so many candidates, meant each candidate was allowed two minutes for an introduction and one minute to answer each question. Two of the questions posed to the 16 candidates led to some odd responses for different reasons. The first was a query on how the candidates would deal with waste dumping in sensitive riparian zones, which is arguably a subject better asked of the provincial government’s Conservation Officer Service. The second was on how the candidates would promote urban farming, a question
