MESSAGE FROM HEAD COACH/MANAGER The 2014/15 BCMML hockey season has begun and the Thompson Blazers organization couldn’t be more pleased with the program’s direction and the many strides it has made over the last year to get to this point. I would like to thank everyone who has shown us such gracious support since taking over this Major Midget program. A special thank-you goes out to the City of Kamloops, Kamloops Minor Hockey, and the staff at Memorial Arena for their sincere contributions to our program. Without them, the Thompson Blazers would not have been able to create the program culture and identity that it now has!

A big thank-you to this year’s parent group for all of their support and contributions so far this season. Their countless hours of getting their son’s to the arena, their time volunteering, and the time they have put in by going out into the community and finding all of our amazing sponsors that we have now showcased in this booklet, has not gone unnoticed! I would also like to thank the families who have opened up their homes to our out of town players on the roster by providing billeting to these players. This is the second year the Thompson Blazers program has managed to successfully provide this opportunity to out of town players!

I would also like to take the opportunity to thank all of those sponsors who we have showcased in this year’s program for their unconditional support and their best wishes for our hockey team this season. We are proud to have the Thompson Blazers associated with each and every one of you!

It is also important that I thank the staff of the Thompson Blazers who have volunteered their time to help with the development, structuring, and support of the program and its players. We have an amazingly dedicated and well-rounded staff that I am very proud to have be a part of this program. As well, I would like to thank the Kamloops Blazers (WHL) for their support of our Major Midget program. We are proud to dawn the Blazer logo.

Lastly, I would like to close by saying what a tremendous group of players the Thompson Blazers hockey club has this season. We have 20 players who are dedicated, passionate, committed and extremely hard working. It is a pleasure to coach each and every one of these players! Our roots run deep within the North/South Okanagan and as far as the Northern region of British Columbia.

We currently have eight players from these regions (Merritt, Salmon Arm, Revelstoke, Vernon, Kelowna, & Kitimat) on our roster with 12 players who are locals of Kamloops. The players look forward to your continued support and we invite you to attend any or all of our home games this season.
