Chamber to host municipal all-candidates forum

The Barriere and District Chamber of Commerce will host municipal all-candidates forum to be held at the North Thompson Fall Fair Hall. The forum will be held Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Candidates vying for council in Barriere will be

invited to attend the forum. The evening will begin with an introduction of the candidates, followed by written and oral questions from the floor and end with a brief closing statement from each candidate. Moderator for the evening will be Harley Wright. Everyone is encouraged to
attend this events and hear what the candidates have to say on the issues of concern to business owners and residents. General election day for Barriere’s municipal election is set for Saturday, Nov. 15, with advance voting on Nov. 1 and 5. Barriere residence can cast the votes on those days from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
