Elections will be held on Nov. 15, 2014 in municipalities, regional districts and school districts in B.C. Those who are elected to office will serve four-year terms, up from the current three-year stint. Black Press and the Boundary Creek Times are looking forward to covering the election stories both in print and online. From the moment the nomination period closes on Friday afternoon until polling day, you will be able to keep on top of things. Look for developing information online at boundarycreektimes.com Click on the Election link on the right of the banner at the top of the page. News comes fast during he five-week campaign and we plan to be there helping the voters understand what the candidates see as important; and, equally significant, helping the candidates see what the voters consider to be of high priority.

G-Force Real Estate Inc., the court approved marketing agent under a foreclosure action to sell most of the assets of Mount Baldy Ski Resort, announced last week that it has assembled the required pieces to the puzzle to re-launch the ski hill for the upcoming season. “All that remains is to is to fit each of the pieces together quickly over the next few days so a final announcement can be made,” said a press release issued by G-Force. The release went on to say the prospective new owner expects to announce season passes and other programs in the next few days.
