Our basic photography class will have you taking better pictures. You will learn what all the buttons and dials do, with limited technical jargon. We will provide shooting tips and pitfalls to avoid. This course will be limited to 10 people so register early! Taught by Shanon Fischer, owner of Pixel Mountain Studio Age:18 years and up Cost:$100.00

10 moves for balance Designed by a contemporary medical professor in Orthopedics of the Medical School of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the 10-Moves Tai Chi is for those wanting to improve balance, Àexibility, strength,concentration and coordination in a simple form, without the complicated sequence involved in the traditional full set Tai Chi.

Basic Spanish Lessons

DogSafe Canine First Aid Level 1

Ivonne Elizondo will teach you basic Spanish phrases that will help you navigate and communicate while travelling abroad.

This course is designed to teach you the knowledge and skills to deal with a sick or injured dog until veterinary care is available. The topics are covered in-depth and with the use of canine CPR manikins so that students have a thorough understanding of the principles of canine ¿rst aid. Since this is a very comprehensive course, we need your full attention and dogs do not come to class. Canine First Aid Level 1 Certi¿cation is rewarded along with the DOGSAFE® training and reference manual.

Come and join us at the FVRD Regional Airpark for the 2014 Terry Fox Run. All participants are open to run, walk or bike the 5km loop around the Airpark and can set their own pace and goals. There will also be music, a bbq and kid activities on site for all participants.

Survivor Academy for Kids Abduction Prevention

MERRY MUSIC by Barbara Duncan

This workshop will teach kids how to recognize and deal with potential threats to their safety. This is a practical hands on course presented by Steven Hiscoe, an 8th Black Belt in Jiu-Jitsu with over 38 years experience. Date: Time: Age: Cost:

Music is a beautiful way to enhance your child’s brain development while providing a happy, social aspect to their lives. This interactive class includes movement songs, ¿ngerplays, puppets and felts. Children will be introduced to a wide variety of percussion instruments and play along with Barbara on the guitar. Concepts such as colours, shapes, numbers, letters, etc. are integrated in the song choices that include many genres and styles. So much fun they won’t even know they’re learning. Barbara is an Early Childhood Educator, singer/song writer and recording artist.

Canada Sports Day Join us as we celebrate Canada Sports Day with a “Try it out for free day”. Introduction to Pickleball will take place in the morning and Badminton in the afternoon.
