Ogilvie memorial service this Friday C AROLYN GR ANT Bulletin Editor

The memorial service for former Mayor Jim Ogilvie will be held will be held on Friday, August 29th at 2 p.m. at the Kimberley Conference & Athlete Training Centre. Ogilvie was mayor of Kimberley for a total of 36 years, and first ran for elected office as an alderman in Marysville in 1964. He served the City continuously from that time except for one three year period. He passed away on Sunday, August 24 after a lengthy illness. He was 78.
