3, 2, 1... Blast off!
Devon MacKenzie News staff
Enjoy a meal at Saanichton’s Prairie Inn this Saturday and support Tour de Rock rider Lori Lumley while you’re at it. On Aug. 23 from 11 a.m. until midnight, a portion of the proceeds from all the Prairie Inn’s food sales will be donated to Lumley and the 2014 Tour de Rock fundraising campaign. As well, a silent auction (4 p.m. to 8 p.m.), mystery balloons, a meat draw and a 50/50 draw will take place. “It will be a really Lori Lumley fun event and I’m so looking forward to it,” said Lumley, a police officer with the Victoria Police Department. “I can’t thank the staff of the Prairie Inn enough, they’ve just been incredibly supportive and this event will be wonderful.” For more information visit tourderock.ca.
