While Cranbrook calmly went about its business on Monday, July 14, a vintage B-25 Mitchell bomber was flying overhead, the bombsite and 50 calibre machine gun in the nose (pictured above) trained on various local neighbourhoods. But don’t be alarmed — the bomb bays were empty. The vintage World War II bomber, which saw active service in Italy and Yugoslavia in 1944, is sojourning at the Canadian Rockies International Airport from Monday, July 14, through Thursday, July 17. Rides and aircraft tours are available to the public. The plane is in Cranbrook through the auspices of the Cranbrook Airshow. See later this week for a special photo feature. going.” Terry has been involved with CCT for over 30 years and has been active on stage, behind the scenes, and as a board member. In those 30 plus years, Terry has served as board president, production manager, building manager, and currently sits on the society’s fundraising committee.
