The festivities in Qualicum Beach will begin with a parade getting underway at 11:45am from the parking lot adjacent to the Old Schoolhouse at Fern and Memorial continuing to the Legion grounds at Veterans Way where the ceremonies start at Noon.

Festivities will commence with an address by Mayor Teunis Westbroek, singing of the national anthem and the cutting of a beautiful cake provided by Quality Foods at 2:15pm.

There will be face-painting, games, food and fun throughout the afternoon with musical entertainment.

BOWSER

The Bowser festivities run from 11am to 5pm, and will include the traditional activities plus a show & shine car show.

Games for young and old, tractor rides, music, face painting and cotton candy.

Entertainment from the Arrowsmith Pipe Band at 1:30pm with the singing of O Canada and a few others songs, with the formal cake cutting at 3pm.

The Ladies Auxiliary will run a barbecue with entertainment.

As we celebrate the 147th birthday of this great country with fireworks, fun, and revelry, we recognize how proud and fortunate we are to be Canadians. We hope you and your loved ones enjoy a safe day of patriotic celebration!
