This intensive parenting class for parents of children five and under, covers a variety of topics: discipline, communication, routine, self-esteem for parent and child, ages and stages and more. An opportunity to practice skills on site with your child is also included.

STRONG START CENTRES StrongStart BC Centres offer preschool aged children quality early learning experiences. This includes StrongStart Centres at 11 schools, and Ready, Set, Learn program sessions January through May each year.

The “Early Years” (prenatal to age 6) are extremely important. The kind of nurturing and attention that children receive in early childhood has a major impact on the rest of their lives. Researchers

have found the early years of development, from birth to age six, affect learning, behaviour and health throughout life.
