This is very important work considering every year over 3,500 women and children in the Mid Vancouver Island area seek support to recover from physical, sexual and psychological abuse and violence. Haven Society’s programs include providing shelter, emotional support, counselling, advocacy, and most importantly a safe place to begin healing from abuse. If you are planning on holding a garage sale this spring, we would like you to consider holding it on Saturday May 10 and help us help the Haven Society. Royal LePage Nanaimo Realty will provide you with signage, balloons and advertise your garage sale in the local newspapers.
