Karen Provost WHY USE A REALTOR... The Real Estate industry and all services related are constantly changing, like the ocean. Going it alone to sell your own home, metaphorically...is like taking on that ocean in a small boat with hopefully a life ring on onboard, should that rogue wave come along. Using a realtor is similar to making the same journey on a cruise ship. I will guide you through the preparation, staging, educating on the process, marketing, recommend professionals in related fields with whom we are familiar and previously worked with. I assist in both the start and end to relationships, loss of health, finances and loved ones, relocation and guide through construction. The accumulated years of experience and knowledge in our office is extensive...and we have many forms of life boats to assist in an emergency. Jane Neve Trainer & Behavioural Coach As with most dog trainers, Jane Neve has been involved with dogs her whole life. She began formal training as an assistant instructor in 1981 but found the “traditional” methods disheartening. Over a decade of working with dogs in various fields (vet office and shelters) and Canine Conduct Training Solutions was created in 1993. More than just dog obedience – it aims to open the lines of communication between dogs and their people to create a positive relationship. Today, Jane continues her study of Applied Behavioural Analysis and carries out her mission to show dog lovers and owners how to train dogs in a compassionate, respectful, fair, and above all, fun way. Teaching others how to “speak dog” is her passion. Join in on the fun at the new Black Creek Dog Park - as a “members only” park, safety and fun are ensured.

It really is true that “necessity is the mother of invention.”

For anyone who shops at a farmers’ market or craft fair, here’s the familiar scenario: the customer pays the vendor who typically stashes the cash in a box; or the vendor reaches into a fanny pack that is exploding with a jumble of money and personal items. Plain and simple, I was tired of the vulnerability of cash boxes and fanny packs. With an idea concept in mind, I researched wearable products, but none offered the features that I believe would address the risk faced by thousands of vendors. So, I designed one. VendorsWeAr…More Than A Products Company… While I originally called the company VendorsWear–clearly an apparel-sounding name–I soon re-thought that name and made a “small adjustment with huge potential.” Now the company name can better reflect the group of business owners for which my products are intended. Hence, VendorsWear became VendorsWeAr.

Margaret Szafron When it comes to memories, Marg Szafron knows how to make them…and to preserve them. After retiring in 2010 from a successful career as a property appraiser, Marg has spent more time “making memories” with her grandchildren and children, and also working more closely with her hubby, Larrie, in their business, Prestige Video Transfer. Old film/VHS/camcorder tapes/photos/slides/audio recordings/business media are deteriorating and need to be preserved in digital media (DVD). The company provides videography for special events/business presentations/insurance documentation. An active member of the CVWBN since 2007, Marg served as a director for two years, on the Board of the CVHBBA for two years, and is currently a Director of the Chamber of Commerce & the Board of Glacier View Lodge Society. “Preserve your cherished lifetime memories”

Lucia Brodie Lucia Brodie, founder of Deep Peace, is a clairvoyant and Healing Touch Practitioner, who has been practising ancient healing techniques since 2006. She has received training from Intuitive Mind and Healing Touch Canada. Some of the readings offered are past life, aura, contracts, land and house clearing, mediumship and rose readings. The intent of a session is to validate and understand your spirit’s messages. Everything is made up of energy and there can be stuck energy in your auric field coming from many sources, including stagnant energy and outdated belief systems. A session can ‘de clutter’ your field so that only that which is for your highest good and in alignment with your soul’s ‘true’ purpose remains.
